FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club (FLMC) has announced the agenda for its highly anticipated 36th Marine Seminar, scheduled for October 26-27, 2026, at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Recognized as one of the maritime insurance industry’s premier educational and networking events, the two-day seminar will bring together leading professionals from across the marine insurance, legal, claims, survey, yacht, and maritime sectors.
The agenda features a comprehensive lineup of expert speakers, industry panels, and thought-provoking discussions addressing current challenges and emerging trends impacting the maritime insurance industry. Attendees will benefit from presentations and case studies covering topics such as crew welfare and wellness, claims investigations, waterfront development, errors and omissions exposures, beneficial ownership and limitation of liability, environmental regulations, and a major marine casualty case study.
A keynote presentation, “The Shrinking Waterfront,” will examine the changing landscape of working waterfronts and the impact of marina consolidation on vessel owners, service providers, and maritime businesses.
